CFS ENGINEERING

CFS ENGINEERING

COMPUTATIONAL FLUIDS AND STRUCTURES ENGINEERING enters the world of Biofluids

At CFS Engineering, we specialize in the numerical simulation of fluids and structures. Our primary domain of activity is aerospace. To solve fluid mechanics problems, we use NSMB (Navier Stokes Multi Block), our in-house code developed in collaboration with other partners. Our software has been validated many times since 1991. Because we are intimately familiar with the source code, we can easily adapt it for a variety of particular applications and new cases.

As of 2004, we have diversified our activities and developed our code for biomedical applications. We are now able to simulate blood flow in medium to large sized vessels (arteries) as well as air flow in the respiratory tract. We are continuing the development of our code in order to simulate non-Newtonian and pulsatile flows. In this way, in 2006, we will be able to offer more realistic blood flow simulations, as well as critical case studies, such as blood flow in small sized vessels.

Our current advances in biofluids can also help to eliminate problems in the design and development of new biomedical devices. We invite you to contact us for more details.
