MOBILE
ROBOTS
|
| |
The
Khepera II Robot
Khepera II is a miniature mobile
robot with functionality similar
to that of larger robots used in
research and education. It
allows real world testing of
algorithms developed in
simulation for trajectory
planning, obstacle avoidance,
pre-processing of sensory
information, and hypotheses on
behaviour processing, among
others.

| |
The
Koala Robot
Koala is a mid-size robot
designed for real-world
applications. Bigger than Khepera,
more powerful, and capable of
carrying larger accessories,
Koala has the functionality
necessary for use in practical
applications, rides on 6 wheels
for indoor all-terrain
operation, and sports stylish
bodywork for attractive
demonstrations.

The
Hemisson Robot
The Hemisson robot
is designed for education and
teaching. Equiped with
several sensors and a
programmable 8bit MCU, the robot
is able to avoid obstacles,
detect ambient light intensity
and follow a line on the floor.
Other equipements include
programmable LED, buzzer and
switches. |

The
Kameleo
This is a Motorola MC68376 board
that can be used as a robot core
or as CPU for industrial
prototypes. Khepera and Koala
software compatible. Optional
daughterboard provides an
interface to motors, sensors,
and more!

|
| |
The
KoreBot
This is a XScale PXA255 board
that can be used as an add-on
for Koala, or as a robot core,
or for industrial prototyping.
Optional daughterboard provides
an interface to drive DC motors
w or W/o encoders.

WEBOTS
The 3D Khepera simulator WEBOTS
is the perfect tool for
realistic mobile robot
simulation. Developped around
Khepera, it supports several
turrets and can realistically
simulate the gripper and vision
turrets. Webots is not limited
to Khepera, however, and can
also simulate Koala or any other
custom differential-drive robot.

SysQuake
SysQuake is the perfect tool for
teaching and research in
robotics and control. This
interactive programmable
environment can be used for
real-time visualisation of
theoretical and practical
experiments. SysQuake is highly
flexible and can be a powerful
tool for many other scientific
domains.
